The Twenty Committee are a progressive rock band who have been writing and performing music in the greater Philadelphia area since 2012. They have independently released two studio albums, A Lifeblood Psalm (2013) and The Cycle Undone (2023), concept albums that blend captivating melodies with prog complexities. The current lineup of Geoffrey Langley (keys, lead vox), Jeff Bishop (lead guitar, vox), Joe Henderson (drums, percussion, vox), Richmond Carlton (bass, harp, vox), and Justin Carlton (guitars, keys, vox) have developed an original sound that derives from their shared influences: Rush, Steven Wilson, Gentle Giant, Steely Dan, Big Big Train, and Return to Forever.

On their 2023 release, The Cycle Undone, they worked with Rave Tesar (Studio X) of Renaissance to record drum tracks and then built the rest of the album around that skeleton, with Bishop at the helm in his home studio. Other engineering work for Cycle includes Annie Haslam’s guest vocals and Geoffrey Langley’s additional work on Moog and organ. The album has received high praise, but perhaps the greatest compliment yet was Greg Spawton of Big Big Train recommending the album as his favorite prog release of the year in an interview with Progradar.org.

Laura Meade is a classically trained soprano, a songwriter, has studied Gregorian chant, performed in choirs, and appeared on the musical theater stage. She is a pianist and singer in progressive rock band IZZ, herbalist, horticulturist, and aspiring beekeeper. All of these experiences help to form the tapestry of her latest show, "Standard Deviation." Meade's most recent album of original music, The Most Dangerous Woman in America, is a deep, personal, and emotional dive into the life of actress Jean Seberg, and has received wide acclaim.

John Galgano is a founding member of art-rock group IZZ. He has been one of the band’s primary songwriters and bass player since the band's inception. John's 2012 solo album, Real Life is Meeting, presents nine tracks varying from catchy art-pop to experimental, synth-based to bass-driven to the 19-minute piece “1000." The result is a fluid and naked collection of philosophical musings set to music - meditations on what it means to be human in the 21st century.
