With instantly recognizable hits including “Tom Dooley,” “MTA (He’ll Never Return),” “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” “Scotch & Soda,” “Greenback Dollar,” “A Worried Man,” “Five Hundred Miles,” “Tijuana Jail” and “This Land Is Your Land,” The Kingston Trio created a soundtrack that helped define an era of American music.

Their breakthrough recording of “Tom Dooley” sold more than three million copies and helped ignite the American folk music revival. The Kingston Trio went on to place 19 albums in Billboard’s Top 100, including 14 in the Top 10 and five that reached No. 1. At the height of their popularity, four Kingston Trio albums simultaneously ranked among Billboard’s 10 best-selling albums for five consecutive weeks—an extraordinary achievement that stood unmatched for more than half a century.

Their influence extended far beyond the folk boom, inspiring generations of artists including Bob Dylan, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles, Steve Martin, Mumford & Sons and The Avett Brothers.

The Kingston Trio continues that remarkable legacy, bringing the group’s beloved songs, signature harmonies and unmistakable storytelling back to the stage. Current members Mike Marvin, Tim Gorelangton and Paul Robinson share meaningful connections to the original Kingston Trio. Mike is the adopted son of founding member Nick Reynolds, who was also his musical mentor. Tim, Mike’s close friend since boyhood, is one of the few musicians outside the Trio to have recorded with Nick Reynolds. Paul toured internationally as lead guitarist with folk-swing pioneer Dan Hicks, who was discovered by Nick Reynolds, and has also performed and recorded with The Original Sons (Sons of the Kingston Trio).

For longtime fans and new audiences alike, a Kingston Trio performance is an opportunity to experience these beloved songs live—filled with great music, engaging stories, humor and an unmistakable connection with the audience.
