The Harry Chapin Band ft. Steve Chapin, Big John Wallace, Howard Fields, Clark Wallace & Arlen Hlusko (on cello)

The stirring musical tribute to Harry Chapin featuring his brother Steve with original Chapin band members returns! Big John Wallace is still on bass and vocals. The band is led by Steve Chapin on piano and vocals, and powered by drummer Howard Fields, the only drummer Harry ever had. In true Chapin family tradition, the vintage trio’s guitar slot is completed with second generation talent, Clark Wallace on electric guitar. The show also features Arlen Hlusko (on cello!).

You will hear stunning portrayals of some most loved songs like “Cat’s In The Cradle,” “Taxi,” “Mr. Tanner,” “WOLD,” “Mail Order Annie” and “Better Place To Be” plus Steve’s songs as well. As usual, along with the familiar and impeccably presented music, the band often detours along the way to retell interesting back-stories about the songs. Time seems to disappear while the music of Harry Chapin lives on!
