Cream was one of the first rock supergroups to rise from the 1960s British rhythm and blues scene. Blending blues with pop, rock, psychedelia, folk, and African rhythms, they created a groundbreaking mix of masterful songwriting and bold improvisation.
Nearly 60 years after Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce shook the world, their legacy lives on through SONS OF CREAM. Led by Ginger’s son Kofi Baker, Jack’s son Malcolm Bruce, and Ginger’s grandnephew Rob Johnson, the band delivers blistering Blues Rock with Cream classics and select tracks from related acts like Blind Faith. It’s a powerful tribute from the true heirs of a legendary sound.
This isn’t a typical tribute act. Kofi Baker and Malcolm Bruce bring a deep, multidimensional pedigree to the music, instinctively reinterpreting it as a living, evolving force. With years of experience alongside their legendary fathers—and a kind of intuitive, inherited connection—they’ve tapped into the true spirit of Cream’s sound and made it their own. Together they are bringing to light the spirit and energy and audacity of the music of their fathers.
