Once Vinnie Moore picked up his first guitar at the age of 12, he became, as he describes it, a “guitar freak.” At 14, he joined his first band. A few bands and a few years later, Vinnie made the jump from covering songs to creating his own music. He quit the band, got a 4-track tape recorder, and began recording his ideas and building them into songs. It was evident that he had found his calling.

In 1987, Vinnie was quickly heralded "best new talent" in Guitar Player, Guitar, and Guitar World magazines. His breakout album Mind's Eye sold more than 100,000 copies. Many albums and collaborations later, Vinnie Moore's resume is impressive. Vinnie’s own band has toured extensively as a headliner and has opened for legendary rockers like Rush. In 2003, Vinnie joined the legendary group UFO and recorded and toured with them until their retirement in 2019.

Over the years, Vinnie's 4-track recorder has grown into a home studio, where he has recorded his last two solo CDs, and parts of the UFO CD. As well as songwriting and playing, Vinnie has conducted guitar clinics around the world, and has released two instructional videos.

Listen to Rob Balducci and it is apparent that he is a master of the fret board. Listen longer and you will notice layer upon layer carefully shaping a musical landscape. Sometimes Balducci is doubling up on the rhythm, or he slips into a blazing solo, laying the foundation for the feeling he’s trying to get across. Instrumental guitarists of the mid to late eighties - Steve Vai, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen – had a huge influence on Balducci, who had a prodigious talent from the time he inherited his sister’s acoustic guitar. Balducci’s latest album, Transcendence, is brimming with everything you’ve come to expect from Balducci - infectious melodies, stunning musicianship and gorgeous tones all shaped to take you on an aural journey that will leave you wondering ‘How did he do that?’
