Iron Comedy Competition - The Comedy Triathlon

Iron Comedy Competition is a hilarious contest that presents a true Triathlon of Comedy.

Two comedians showcase their skills in a three-part competition in the following events: stand-up comedy, the one-liner challenge, and a roast battle. The winner is determined by audience applause for the best overall performance, making the show a truly interactive experience. Your host for the evening is also a comedian and will start off the show, explain the competition and keep the comedy ball rolling.

The Comedians:

Steve Young is revered for his razor-sharp wit and poignant observations. Besides being an award-winning TV writer, working on shows like The Tonight Show, Boy Meets World, and Cybill. While writing he was a regular at The Comedy Store. He has opened for such acts as Jay Leno, Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy and Jerry Seinfeld. Steve is also an author - check out his latest novel, The Larry David Code.

Dwayne Dunlevy is a Bucks County–based comedian is known for his sharp wit, big heart, and no-filter storytelling, Dwayne blends observational humor with absurd honesty about aging, relationships, and modern life. He’s the longtime host of Comedy in the Village, a fan-favorite at Peddler’s Village, and has appeared on national TV shows including NBC News, The Wendy Williams Show, and The Simple Life.

Bill McLaughlin is the host and creator of the IRON COMEDY COMPETITION, THE COMEDY TRIATHLON. A founding member of The Chicago City Limits—New York’s longest‑running comedy revue—he also performed with The First Amendment Improv Company. Bill has produced corporate entertainment for decades, written and performed for events across the U.S. and Europe, and worked in film, TV, and voiceover. As a comedy instructor, he has taught for companies in New York, London, Philadelphia, Houston, and many other cities.
