Beer Tastings

Beer tastings highlight either a brewery or a beer theme. Featured beers are offered in tasting flights of three or four 6oz pilsners and are accompanied by an informative printed description of the brews.

Breweries often send a representative to discuss their beers with patrons. Price for a flight varies but is generally in the $9-$10 range The tasting flights are available in the bar or the dining rooms. Food can be ordered á la carte.

Our patriotic tasting this year will be featuring Yards brewery with emphasis on their Ales of the Revolution: George Washington Porter, Thomas Jefferson Ale, their fabulous Philadelphia Pale Ale, and Brawler will be available.

Friday 8/7/09  Duck Rabbit Brewery

This brewery has only been producing beer since August 2004, so we will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary and their introduction into the state of Pennsylvania at the same time. They call themselves "the dark beer specialists". Taste dopplebock on draft, milk stout, porter and amber ale.
